Projan uses the hot water / steam extraction cleaning method. It is the only method recommended by carpet manufacturers. Moreover, it is the only method which does not void your carpet's warranty! It consists of first applying a surfactant spotting agent which loosens ground-in dirt in traffic areas, and is then followed by high pressure application of a combination of hot water ranging from 180 to 250 degrees and a non-residue rinsing agent. A powerful vacuum pump removes over 90 % of the moisture introduced into the carpet.
